To strengthen Indonesia's leadership in ASEAN in 2023, Indonesia Youth Diplomacy (IYD) hosted the ASEAN Youth Agenda 2023, including the ASEAN Youth Innovation Challenge and ASEAN+ Youth Summit, with a focus on five main issues, one of which is food security and the Green Economy. The main outcome of this summit was a joint statement and the ASEAN+ Declaration, which also discussed access to nutritious food for everyone.

Amid the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, more than 52,500 babies in Gaza face the risk of starvation and serious health impacts. Reducing food waste in ASEAN and supporting Food Security is an urgent matter, with more than 17% of food wasted in the region. "From Plate to Purpose" campaign to tackle food waste, encourage responsible eating, and support people suffering from hunger and malnutrition in Gaza through donations.

Solusi kelaparan dan malnutrisi di Indonesia

Untuk memperkuat kepemimpinan Indonesia di ASEAN tahun 2023, Indonesia Youth Diplomacy (IYD) menjadi tuan rumah ASEAN Youth Agenda 2023, mencakup ASEAN Youth Innovation Challenge dan ASEAN+ Youth Summit, dengan fokus pada lima isu utama, salah duanya adalah ketahanan pangan dan Ekonomi Hijau. Hasil utama dari KTT ini adalah pernyataan bersama dan Deklarasi ASEAN+, yang juga membahas tentang akses makanan bernutrisi bagi semua orang. 

Di tengah konflik Israel-Palestina, lebih dari 52.500 bayi di Gaza menghadapi risiko kelaparan dan dampak kesehatan serius. Mengurangi pemborosan pangan di ASEAN dan mendukung Ketahanan Pangan menjadi urgensi, dengan lebih dari 17% makanan terbuang di kawasan. Kampanye "From Plate to Purpose" untuk mengatasi limbah makanan, mendorong gaya makan bertanggung jawab, dan mendukung penderita kelaparan dan kekurangan gizi di Gaza melalui sumbangan.
